Old School Runescape has a million downloads on iOS

  • The iOS version of Old School Runescape has achieved one million downloads. The mobile version of Runescape 2 from 2007 was launched last week on RS Mobile Gold iOS by developer Jagex.

The mobile game was released on October 30 and has since taken the first place on the App Store in eight countries. In addition to these million downloads, the Android version has also achieved a million downloads. This is partly due to the earlier beta of the mobile game. These combined figures show a high in the highest number of daily users since the launch of the PC game in February 2013.

CEO of developer Jagex, Phil Mansell, says that launching the mobile game is an important milestone for bringing the franchise to multiple platforms.
